The Gator’s Gallery

Greenwood’s Literary Magazine, The Gator’s Gallery, is gearing up for it’s
second issue of the 2009-2010 school year!

The submission deadline for our next issue is Monday, March 15th.
The Gator’s Gallery is a literary magazine composed entirely of student works.
Contributions can be sent electronically to gator@bermanhome.org or can be
placed in the envelope on the wall outside of Mrs. Meyers’ room or in her
mailbox in the main office.

Submissions must be the student’s work and may be prose, poetry, pictures
or illustrations. We are looking for submissions from ALL grade levels, K
through 5th.  We would be thrilled to have just pictures from the younger
kids without any associated story/poem.  They may be pieces that were
written as part of an assignment or written especially for the magazine.

Submissions must be on single sided unlined or blue-lined paper. The final
copy is much more legible when written in ink or crayon(if using pencil,
please be sure any erasures are complete).  Please be sure that
submissions include the child’s name, grade and teacher.

We will reproduce a few copies in color for the library and the student
distribution will be in black and white. Submissions are limited to a
maximum of two pages.  Our goal is to publish every student who submits a
piece once each school year.

We need YOUR help with this effort (please directly contact Morris Berman,
gator@bermanhome.org).

ALL Submissions must be “school appropriate” and Mrs. Bunyan has final
approval before publication.
