May 21-May 25, 2012 is Greenwood Spirit Week organized by Greenwood’s Student Government Association and our 3^rd and 4^th Grade “You Have The Power” Club Members

Theme: Don’t Just Stand By! Be an Ally Against Bullying!

Mon. “Team Up Against Bullying” – Wear a sports shirt or jersey
Tues. “Bullying is not Just in the Movies” – Wear any type of costume
Wed. “Put a Cap on Bullying” – Wear a hat to school
Thurs. ”Bullying is Tacky” – Wacky Tacky Day
Fri. “Be an Ally!” – Dress up like twins/triplets

Volunteers Needed

Do you want to get more involved in your child’s education? Volunteer! No matter what your ability or how many hours you can contribute, we have something for you! Take a look at our volunteer page, and see if you can help. Even if a position does not say ‘Help Wanted’ and you are interested, let the chairperson know. Many committees can use more than one person to help it run smoothly. We hope to see you soon!

We are looking for volunteers for the 2011-12 school year.

Holiday Craft Nights, Variety Show, Accelerated Reader, Handwriting Without Tears, Room Parents, Greenwood Gator Guides, and the Media Center are currently needing volunteers.
