Variety Show
Dates to Remember and Important Information for Grades K-4
*Contact person for each group – please pass this information along to the members in your act*
November 30th: Audition @ Greenwood
Run all K-4 acts- we do not expect your act to be finalized at this point
K-1st Grade-arrive at 6:20
2nd and 3rd Grade-arrive at 7:00 pm
4th Grade-arrive at 7:45 pm
- Please bring a copy of your music, labeled with the name of your act for the K-4 coordinators to keep.
- When you arrive please go to the waiting area outside of the AP room, find the sign on the wall that designates your age group, wait there to sign in and be called.
- Please be on time and make sure all members of your group are waiting together and ready to go when you are called.
- Please have the name of your act and song choice finalized (if you have questions about a specific song email Tara Goldstein or Christine Nolan).
- Please be prepared to tell us which movie or tv show your song is from-if applicable.
- Remember to have the children bow at the end of their act (perform it as if it were part of the routine at your practices).
- Please leave through the back door of the All Purpose Room immediately after your group performs.
- Please send any pictures of your group rehearsing to Jennifer Mavrikes at jmavrikes@hotmail.com for a special slideshow.
- T-shirts will be available for order at the auditions on November 30th. Cost is $12, payable to Greenwood PTA.
January 12th: K-4 Opening Dance Rehearsal 7:00-8:00 pm @ Greenwood
- K-4 will work with the 5th grade choreographer to learn an easy opening dance for the show.
January 18th: Dress Rehearsal, Pictures and Audition @ Greenwood
- Run all K-4 acts, Dress Rehearsal, Pictures-acts are to arrive in full costume with makeup/hair.
February 1st and 2nd: Dress Rehearsal and Run-through at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy, Rockville, MD
February 5th @ 1:00: Variety Show @ the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy, Rockville, MD
